On August 23, the Replântica Project successfully concluded its third course, held at the Guapiaçu Ecological Reserve (REGUA). The initiative was attended by students of Agricultural Sciences and Biological Sciences from public universities in Rio de Janeiro, reinforcing the connection between academic education and environmental conservation.
The course, taught in partnership with the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), is part of the activities of the Replântica Project, funded by the German Ministry of the Environment through the International Climate Protection Initiative (IKI). This initiative aims to train future professionals to face environmental challenges, highlighting the importance of preserving biodiversity and the sustainable management of natural resources.
With the completion of this stage, the Replântica Project maintains its commitment to training students and promoting ecological practices essential for mitigating climate change and restoring ecosystems in the region.
